Detectives investigating a firearms discharge in Bradford on Thursday 26 November are continuing to appeal for witnesses

The incident happened at around 9:46pm on Thursday 26 November on Halcyon Way.

No-one was injured during the incident.

Police have so far arrested six people in connection with the incident -

Three men aged 25, 43 and 47 and a woman aged 27 arrested on suspicion of attempted murder have since been bailed.

And two men aged 40 and 21 were arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender have been released without charge.

Detective Chief Inspector Sharron Kaye (Protective Services, Crime) is leading the investigation, said: “Enquiries into the incident remain ongoing and I would like to take this opportunity to appeal to anyone with information to come forward.”

Damage was caused to a car on the street and the damage is consistent with gunshots.

No-one was injured during the incident.

A man aged 25 and a woman aged 27 have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and remain in police custody at this time.

Two men aged 40 and 21 years old have been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender and remain in police custody at this time.

Enquiries are ongoing.

Police are appealing for witnesses following a firearms discharge in Bradford overnight.

The incident happened at around 9:46pm on Thursday 26 November on Halcyon Way.

Damage was caused to a car on the street and the damage is consistent with gunshots.

No-one was injured during the incident.

The suspects fled the scene in a car which was later found burnt out by police.

A police cordon is still in place whilst officers continue their enquiries.

Detective Chief Inspector Sharron Kaye, who is leading the investigation, said: “Incidents involving firearms cause a significant amount of distress and concern for the local communities. We do believe this was a targeted incident.

“High visibility patrols have been deployed into the area today and over the weekend to provide reassurance to the local community.

“I would urge anyone who was in the area and witnessed anything suspicious to come forward and speak with police to assist with our ongoing enquiries.”
