Friday 6 January 2023 Police investigating a fatal road traffic collision in Baildon have released the name of the woman who died. Amber Deakin, 18, was a passenger in the silver Vauxhall Vectra when it overturned on Baildon Road near Pasture Road at 11.47pm on Tuesday evening.

Tuesday 14 November 2023 Police investigating a fatal road traffic collision in Shelf on 20 October can sadly confirm a second person has died.   The collision happened at 11.17pm on 20 October on Brow Lane where a white Seat Ibiza collided with a wall.

Tuesday 20 February 2024Police are appealing for witnesses following an indecent exposure offence on the canal tow path in Todmorden.Officers are investigating the incident which took place between 12noon and 1pm on Thursday 15 February near to the Lever Street car park.
