Appeal: Cyclist Injured In Collision, East Morton

Police are appealing for witnesses after a cyclist was seriously injured in a collision in East Morton.

This is believed to have happened at about 5.30pm on Saturday, 15 July when the rider, a 38-year-old man from Bradford, left Otley Road by Smithfield Lodge, while travelling towards Keighley.

He is believed to have then collided with a stone wall.

He suffered serious injuries and remains in hospital, where his condition is described as stable.

Enquiries are continuing and anyone who may have witnessed the collision or the events prior to it is asked to contact PC 2742 Sandford at the Safer Roads and Neighbourhood Support team on 101, quoting log 1420 of 15 July.
