Appeal: Fatal Road Traffic Collision, Leeds

Police are appealing for witnesses after a fatal road traffic collision on the A659 (Harewood Avenue) Leeds.
The incident happened at 4pm on Thursday 20 April near to the road's junction with Sleighs Lane when a articulated HGV travelling along the A659 towards Harewood House and a female pedestrian were in collision. The 57-year-old woman died at the scene.
Police are appealing for any witnesses and in particular anyone who saw either the vehicle or pedestrian involved in the incident prior to the collision.
The female pedestrian was wearing black boots, black trousers, a brown jacket and had a brown handbag. She had distinctive red coloured hair which was dyed.
