Tuesday 30 May 2023 A Calderdale man has been sentenced to over ten years in prison for rape, indecent exposure and sexual assault of a woman deemed vulnerable. 
Tuesday 16 May 2023 A Wakefield man has been jailed for a total of 16 years after being found guilty of rape in a trial at Leeds Crown Court.  Steven Wood, 43 of Linton Road, Wakefield was sentenced yesterday (15/5) following the conviction of two offences of rape both receiving eight years, to run concurrently. 
Wednesday, 17 January, 2024 A man who raped a young child more than 40 years ago has been handed an extended jail sentence at Leeds Crown Court.   Sean Revere was aged in his 40s when he committed the rape on a female aged under 13 in 1983.

Thursday November 24, 2022 A Kirklees sex offender has been sentenced to more than 25 years after being found guilty of seriously sexually abusing young children.  
Thursday November 16, 2023 A Huddersfield man has been sentenced to a decade in prison for repeatedly seriously sexually assaulting a child. David Terrance Harvey (38) from Huddersfield was sentenced at Leeds Crown Court on Tuesday November 14 after being found guilty of five rape offences.
